Cesar Laurean Arrested

Marine Cpl. Cesar Laurean was arrested in Mexico Thursday night April 10 at 7:00 PM EDT.
Lauren is charged in the murder of Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach.
A press conference will be held 2:00 PM Friday April 11.

CAPTURE ALERT: The international manhunt is over. Target Twenty fugitive Cesar Laurean has been captured on a street in the small town of Tacambaro, Michoacan in Mexico.

One report indicates Laurean told police he had been sleeping in fields and eating avocados.

Onslow County District Attorney Dewey Hudson immediately cautioned that "it could be a year or two" for authorities to bring Laurean back to North Carolina if he decides to fight the extradition process.

A press conference is scheduled for 2p.m. today at the Onslow County Sheriff's Office.
