Peter Cottontail


Now let's take the old Bunny Trail down to Memory Lane and see how many of us remember this cartoon from the 1950's.

How did we survive to be a generation of peaceniks with cartoons like these? I am shocked... Peter Cottontail getting blasted with a shot gun? Oh my! I won't show it to my granddaughter after all...she would be horrified.

Violence in cartoons was very common in those days, and it wasn't until the 60's that people began to complain about it and change the trend. "The 3 Stooges" is a prime example.
